Jean-Désiré Augnet is driven by his passion to perform. Born in Ivory Coast and raised in Normandy, France, Jean-Désiré dreamt of being a professional sprinter and competed for regional track teams by the age of ten.

It was seeing the movie, “Billy Elliott” that changed his aspirations to Dance and Act. He organized a small “circus” group and held performances at local schools and retirement homes around town.

In 2017, at fifteen, Jean-Désiré lost his mother to cancer. It was here that he found a new stance on life—striving entirely towards manifesting his dreams. He taught himself ballet and was accepted to Kate Simmons dance school in Manchester, England where he trained in the Performing Arts.

It wasn’t long after that, Jean-Désiré, was scouted by a top modeling agency in London—launching his modeling career with the luxury fashion house of Dior. Other top brands like Hugo Boss, Longchamp, H&M, and Audemars Piguet—who used his artistic movements in their campaigns—followed suit.   

Jean-Désiré’s drive and dedication lead him to the inevitable, studying the Meisner technique at Actors Door Studio (ADS) in London and the Method technique at Method Acting Center in Paris. Presently, he is building his resume as an actor and has been casted on several upcoming projects, including a TV pilot in the UK.
